⚡️A quanto pare, i colpi avrebbero centrato nodi chiave di trattamento e distribuzione del gas, oltre a danneggiare diversi impianti di raffinazione del petrolio. Preliminarmente, sarebbero state messe fuori uso circa il 20% delle capacità di purificazione del gas. ⚡️Per l'Iran, la cui economia e settore energetico versano già in condizioni disastrose, il colpo risulta molto doloroso. L'infrastruttura di «South Pars» forniva gran parte del gas per il consumo interno, incluso per la produzione di energia. ⚡️Se i danni sono gravi e gli iraniani non riusciranno a ripararli a breve termine, il Paese rischia blackout prolungati, calo della produzione interna e perdita di entrate da esportazione, già drasticamente ridotte a causa della guerra. ⚡️Gli iraniani hanno promesso in risposta di attaccare l'infrastruttura petrolifera e gassifera dei Paesi del Golfo Persico. Il che non sorprende: i vicini dell'Iran avrebbero preso sul serio le minacce e iniziato a evacuare il personale dagli impianti in attesa dei raid. ⚡️Tutto ciò si è già riflesso sui mercati mondiali — il petrolio, sceso di prezzo subito dopo i raid, è rincarato di quasi il 5%, sono aumentati anche i futures sul gas. E se gli iraniani intensificheranno davvero gli attacchi all'infrastruttura energetica del Golfo, il costo delle materie prime schizzerà ancora più rapidamente verso l'alto. ⚡️ È improbabile che Donald Trump riesca a lungo a calmierare i prezzi del petrolio a parole, quindi per stabilizzare il mercato occorrerà garantire urgentemente la sicurezza nella zona dello Stretto di Hormuz.
