L’agenzia di stampa nordcoreana KCNA ha detto che i soldati del paese hanno aiutato la Russia a riconquistare la regione russa di Kursk, che l’Ucraina aveva occupato parzialmente la scorsa estate. L’annuncio della Corea del Nord è stato fatto poco dopo quello con cui l’esercito russo aveva detto di aver ripreso la regione, che però l’Ucraina aveva smentito: lo stato maggiore ucraino aveva infatti fatto sapere che «anche se la situazione è difficile» le operazioni in alcune zone della regione di Kursk continuano.
